Energy Convergence for Off-Grid Amazonian Communities Program
Resumo
This project aims to develop innovative energy solutions for isolated communities impacted by large-scale hydroelectric development in the Amazon. The team, composed of Michigan State University, Campinas State University and West of Pará Federal University members, will work with two local communities in the Tapajos River basin to assist in design and implementation of innovative sustainable energy systems, provide training for local technicians and document and disseminate media products on the benefits and results of the program for replication.
