Lúcia C. is bachelor's at Ecologia from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1980), master's at Sociology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1991) and doctorate at Social Sciences from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1996). Has experience in Sociology, on the following subjects: social conflicts, social action, biodiversity conservation, climate change, environmentalism, especially in the Amazon and Atlantic forest.
