Vírus que atingem o trabalho artístico: pandemia Covid-19 e plataformas de streaming.

O objetivo deste projeto é analisar as relações sociais observadas no trabalho no campo artístico no contexto da pandemia Covid 19. O papel do Estado, dos movimentos sociais e o crescimento das plataformas de streaming informam novas pistas de pesquisa para melhor compreender este objeto. No projeto anterior analisei as mudanças a partir das reformas trabalhistas e das novas leis de migrações, aprovadas nos dois países em 2017, numa perspectiva comparativa internacional França e Brasil.

While the coronavirus pandemic's impacts have been largely negative, and in many instances catastrophic, Covid-19 also served to bring about some positive changes in the way we carry out, communicate, and engage with science. More research has been shared openly, with a progressive increase in the use of preprints, research data sharing, and public communication of science, particularly in mainstream media.

Who cares? Rebuilding care in a post-pandemic world

The project seeks to uncover and understand the matrix of care provision that is fragmented and uncoordinated, and the resultant overlapping, inconsistent and at times competing polices and regulations shaping care work and its provision at different levels of governance. Rebuilding a robust and more resilient care organization requires a comprehensive understanding of the care economy and entails learning from innovative initiatives in different countries.
