Descrição: Os métodos, políticas e instrumentos legais e de mercado de apoio à restauração têm se desenvolvido de forma a promover a restauração em larga escala da Mata Atlântica. Mas uma nova abordagem de restauração se faz necessária para mudar a escala desta atividade de poucos milhares a milhões de hectares. Este projeto objetiva explorar o potencial das florestas restauradas (i.e. florestas novas) em trazer benefícios às pessoas e à natureza no hotspot da Mata Atlântica.
