O Centro de Estudos sobre Diversidade Antiga. Pré-história, Antiguidade e Idade Média reune no Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas da Unicamp, historiadores, filósofos, literatos, filólogos, linguistas, antropólogos sociais e arqueólogos, para, a partir de uma posição crítica em relação à representação de processos hegemônicos, pensar as sociedades Antigas à luz de sua diversidade, tratando de forma crítica as reconstruções homogeneizantes e aquelas que abordam as diversas experiências históricas a partir de parâmetros inflexíveis e exógenos.

An inter- and trans-disciplinary framework based on a European-South American research cooperation is proposed to underpin climate services inSouth America. Climate variability patterns linking the South American Monsoon region, including Amazonia, with southeastern South America,influence climate extremes and impact several societal sectors. More than 200 million people live in the region that is one of the world largest agricultural producing region and where the second world largest hydroelectric power plant is situated.
